Angela De Venuto is a multifaceted music educator and performer with extensive experience in both vocal and piano instruction. As the founder and music teacher at Music by Angela LLC since October 2022, Angela provides private and group lessons. Concurrently, Angela teaches at LYRIQ Music School and the Music Institute of Chicago, as well as serving as an executive director and co-founder of Intermezzi, LLC, a performing arts platform established in October 2020. Angela's performance credits include singing operatic roles with the Savannah Voice Festival since 2016 and serving as a soprano soloist with Eric Genuis from April 2013 to June 2022. Additional teaching roles were held at Chicago School of Music and Solo Classic Inc. from 2013 to 2022, emphasizing technique, theory, and interpretation. Angela's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from DePaul University, earned in 2011.

Founded in 1931, the Music Institute of Chicago leads people toward a lifelong engagement with music by providing widely accessible resources for high quality music teaching, performing, and service activities—and harnessing the power of music to educate, inspire and bring comfort to the communities it serves. Each year, the Music Institute’s teachers reach thousands of students of all ages and levels of experience. Music Institute locations include Chicago, Evanston, Winnetka, Lincolnshire, Lake Forest, and Downers Grove. In addition, the Music Institute is proud of its longstanding partnership with the Chicago Public Schools through its Arts Link program. The Music Institute offers lessons and classes, and concerts through its Community Music School, Academy, and Nichols Concert Hall.
