Xalo Gayoso

Xalo Alexandre Giménez Gayoso is a versatile music industry professional with extensive experience in music composition and production. Currently serving as Label Manager at Periférica Records since December 2020, Xalo also composes music for several organizations, including Overcoast Music and Music Vine, both since 2019, as well as Artlist Ltd and PremiumBeat by Shutterstock. Prior to these roles, Xalo was a Music Producer with SUB ROSA Electronic & Multimedia Band, which achieved notable accolades such as winning the II Premios Gallegos de la Música Martín Códax in 2014 and being a finalist in the 7º Premios de la Música Independiente in 2015. Xalo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from the Conservatorio superior de música de A Coruña, completed in 2013, and studied at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela from 2006 to 2008.
