Brian Cummings

Brian Cummings is an experienced professional in exhibition preparation and industrial design, currently serving as the Lead Preparator at the Musical Instrument Museum since September 2015. Responsibilities include designing and fabricating object mounts for displays, as well as overseeing exhibit installation and teardown. Cummings has also held various teaching positions at Arizona State University, facilitating courses in industrial design and serving as a graduate teaching assistant. Previous experience includes roles as a preparator for contemporary art installations and contributions to innovative projects such as "Pedal out of Poverty" in a rural Mexican community. Cummings holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Asian Languages (Chinese) from Arizona State University.
