William Neace is an accomplished music educator and director with a diverse background in teaching and administrative roles within various educational settings. Currently serving as the Director of Music at Arts In Action Community Charter Schools since November 2022, William has also worked as an Independent Contractor with Musika Music Lessons and taught trumpet privately at Sam Ash Music and the Irvine School of Music. Prior experience includes serving as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where responsibilities involved proctoring exams and grading, as well as contributing as a Computer Lab Assistant at Brooklyn College. William’s earlier roles include teaching trumpet, theory, and composition at the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts and working as a Student Office Manager at the University of West Georgia. William holds a PhD in Music Composition from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s degree from Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia.
