Mette Bjaerge

Mette Bjaerge is an experienced producer and project manager with a diverse background in the performing arts. Currently serving as a producer at Musikhuset Aarhus since January 2019, Mette previously held roles as a project manager at Randers EgnsTeater (2015-2018) and a project coordinator at Randers Kommune (2014-2016). Mette’s extensive experience includes leading a three-year research and development project for Scenekunstnetværket Region Midtjylland and overseeing various cultural initiatives at FreeFromFire. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Dramaturgy with specialty in administration from Aarhus University, alongside postgraduate studies in International Cooperation and Cultural Management. Mette has also engaged in festival director programs and has a foundational background in dance and theatre.
