Tucker Brown

Tucker Brown, Ph.D., currently serves as the Provost and Chief Student Services Officer at Muskegon Community College since June 2025. Prior to this role, Tucker held multiple positions at Austin Peay State University, including Senior Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs from January 2022 to May 2025, and Dean of the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences from April 2019 to December 2021. Tucker began at Austin Peay State University as the Chair and Professor of Sociology from August 2007 to April 2019. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Sociology from Arizona State University (1999-2007) and a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University (August 1994 - December 1999).
