Islam Uddin is an experienced professional in community engagement and fundraising, currently serving as the Head of Community Engagement & Fundraising at Muslim Charity since September 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, Islam has held significant roles including Fundraising Manager at Human Appeal, where efforts included team restructuring and strategic development, and Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships at Muslim Hands, focusing on income generation from high-value funding streams. As CEO of ChildrenPlus, an international aid charity, Islam led initiatives aimed at improving the lives of disadvantaged children globally. Additional experience includes consultancy roles in ICT and business, product management in the media sector, and operations management in telecommunications, complemented by a degree in New Technology & Education from the University of East London.
