Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions in educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a firmware engineer at the same company, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tools. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and software development were key responsibilities. Chris also gained teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary while earning a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. A Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering was obtained from DeVry Institute of Technology.
