Mark Carroll

Mark Carroll has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Mark currently holds the position of Vice-President, Senior General Counsel at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at First Centennial Mortgage from September 2017 to September 2021 as the Director of Compliance/Corporate Counsel, where they provided counsel on regulatory updates, drafted and negotiated contracts, and updated internal policies.

Before joining First Centennial Mortgage, Mark was the owner of Carroll Law Offices, P.C. from August 2007 to December 2018. During this time, they handled various commercial litigation cases, including employment litigation, contract disputes, and personal injury cases. Mark also had experience in transactional matters relating to banking, finance, and real estate.

Mark's legal career began at Guerard, Kalina & Butkus, where they worked as an Attorney from March 2003 to August 2007. Mark started their professional journey as an Associate Attorney at Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley & Van Evera, LLP from August 2001 to February 2003.

Mark Carroll's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at Hillsdale College. Mark successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History/Political Science in 1996. Following this, Mark pursued further education at Northern Illinois University, where they studied Law from 1998 to 2001 and obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
