Rimona Kefra Fernando

Rimona Kefra Fernando currently serves as the Deputy Manager - Conveyancing and Conveyancer at Muve since March 2024 and also works as a Mooting and Advocacy Coach at the Royal Institute of Colombo. Previously, Rimona held the position of Prosecutor at the Attorney General's Department, Sri Lanka, where extensive legal research and case presentation were crucial responsibilities. As an Attorney-at-Law, duties focused on child abuse prosecution, involving collaboration with law enforcement and drafting legal documents. Experience also includes roles as a legal apprentice at Smart Legal Conveyancing and as a Business Development Manager for the Commercial Law Development Program. Notable leadership roles in mooting and legal education were undertaken at various institutions, including serving as Head of External Affairs at The Moot Court Bench and as a Course Instructor with the Law Students Association of Sri Lanka. Rimona's educational background includes degrees from Sri Lanka Law College and the University of Colombo, alongside an LLB from the University of London.
