Ashok Lalwani

Ashok Lalwani has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ashok began their career at the University of Texas at Dallas as a Research Assistant in the Multimedia & Networking Lab, where they focused on wireless ad hoc networks. Ashok then joined Microsoft as a Developer Support Engineer, providing advanced technical support for Windows Media Technologies.

After Microsoft, Ashok moved to Akamai Technologies, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer and Senior Product Architect. In these roles, they played a key role in the development and design of video streaming products.

Following their time at Akamai, Ashok joined Ellation (now Crunchyroll, acquired by AT&T), where they initially worked as an Architect and later became the Manager and Head of Video Platform. Ashok contributed to the growth of the company by designing and productizing live streaming services.

Ashok then joined Fastly, a content delivery network, where they specialized in partnerships, solutions, and product management related to video streaming. Ashok worked on developing strategies and solutions to improve video streaming performance.

Currently, Ashok is with Mux, where they have held several roles including Senior Product Manager and Business Development & Product Strategy. Ashok'sexpertise lies in driving business development and product strategy initiatives.

In addition to their professional experience, Ashok has also served as an Advisor for Jijo, providing guidance and support.

Ashok Lalwani's education history begins with their time at St. Francis D'Assisi High School, where they studied from 1985 to 1997. Following this, they attended Mithibai College from 1997 to 1999, during which they pursued studies in the field of Science. After completing their time at Mithibai College, Ashok Lalwani enrolled at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College in Mumbai, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from 1999 to 2003. Continuing their education, Ashok Lalwani went on to earn a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, studying from 2003 to 2005.
