Rolandas Dirgela

Rolandas Dirgela has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in the field of information technology. 🌊 Rolandas is currently the Chief Information Officer at MV Group, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Lietuvos IT vadovų klubas | CIO.LT in 2021.

From 2019 to 2023, Rolandas worked at Magnetic Group, where they served as the Chief Information and Digital Officer and later as the Head of Information Technology Department. In these roles, they played a crucial role in digital transformation, defining IT strategies, managing budgets, and leading a team responsible for IT matters across multiple locations and businesses.

Before joining Magnetic Group, Rolandas worked at PHILIP MORRIS BALTIC UAB and Philip Morris International. Prior to their time at PHILIP MORRIS BALTIC UAB, Rolandas held miscellaneous positions at AB Parex bankas, including executive roles in retail banking and analyst positions in the information services department.

🌊 Rolandas Dirgela has an extensive education history. 🌊 Rolandas obtained a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Vilnius University in 2005. In 2007, they completed their Master of Science degree in Communication and Information from Vilnius University as well. In 2008, they obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from APM GROUP EXIN. In 2019, they achieved the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile Inc. Most recently, from 2021 to 2023, they attended the BMI Executive Institute where they pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). Additionally, in 2022, they participated in a module on Entrepreneurship within the Executive MBA Program offered by The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School.
