Alan Bannister

Alan is the parent of Cranston Bannister '26. He is the Commissioner of Community Engagement for the City of Toledo. Alan earned a B.A. in Public Administration from Kentucky State University. He is a lifelong Toledoan and serves on the Toledo Fair Housing Board, the United Way of Greater Toledo African American Leadership Council, and is the President of his Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. graduate Chapter of Toledo.

His wife Patekka is the Commissioner of Plant Operations for the City of Toledo.
