Joona Hartman

Joona Hartman has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Joona currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at MVision AI since March 2023. Prior to this, Joona worked at Varian Medical Systems for nearly 16 years, initially as a Senior Software Engineer (May 2007 - February 2023) and later as a Cloud Architect (October 2019 - February 2023). Before joining Varian, they were a Senior System Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks (formerly Nokia Networks) from August 2004 to April 2007. Joona started their career as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology and worked there from May 2001 to July 2004.

Joona Hartman completed their education at two institutions. From 1998 to 2004, they attended Tampere University of Technology 1965-2018, where they earned an MSc degree. During their time there, they studied computer science, telecommunications engineering, and industrial management. Then, from 2006 to 2010, they attended the University of Tampere 1925-2018, where they obtained a KM degree in economics. In addition to their formal education, Joona Hartman also obtained a certification as a Certified Professional for Software Architecture from the ISAQB – International Software Qualification Board in April 2017.
