MVLA Soccer Club
Charlize Tungol is a multi-faceted media professional with extensive experience in journalism, social media, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Social Media Editor and contributing writer and photographer for The Daily Aztec since January 2024, Charlize has also been involved with That Fangirl Life, San Diego Wave Fútbol Club, and Sparx Marketing Group in various capacities. Previous roles include editorial internships at Overachiever Magazine and College Magazine, where Charlize focused on themes relevant to the Asian American experience and college life, respectively. Educationally, Charlize is pursuing a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a focus on Journalism at San Diego State University, building on previous studies in Communication and Media Studies at Evergreen Valley College and Journalism at Emerson College. With a strong background in content creation, event organization, and community outreach, Charlize has developed a unique skill set that contributes to diverse media platforms.

MVLA Soccer Club
MVLASC is home to over 90 teams and 1300 young soccer players. We are one of the premier youth soccer clubs in the bay area. With an amazing coaching staff, led by Technical Director Albertin Montoya, our goal is to develop every player to the best of their ability. With our parents, we want to ensure that their families have a rewarding and positive experience at MVLA. With an amazing board of directors, we want to lead this club to consistently be one of the country's best clubs on the field and establish a wonderful soccer community off of it.
