Ruben Velazquez

Ruben Velazquez is a seasoned Project Manager at MVM, Inc. since December 2006, overseeing day-to-day operations and personnel management at multiple sites, including Aguadilla SPC and San Juan Staging Facility. Previous roles at MVM include Assistant Project Manager and Training Manager for the ICE-PR Contract, where responsibilities encompassed developing and conducting training programs for detention personnel and ensuring contract compliance. Additionally, Ruben served as a Supervisory Detention Officer, managing daily activities and preparing detailed reports related to contract regulations. Beyond MVM, Ruben has been a Firearms Instructor since December 2010 with the National Rifle Association and served as a Sergeant in the US Army from August 1998 to January 2006, specializing in power generation equipment mechanics. Educated at Universidad de Puerto Rico, Ruben holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
