Akhilesh joined MVM in 2019. Prior to joining, he practiced medicine as a resident at Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center and Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. In addition, his research on healthcare systems has led to more than a dozen scientific publications and 50 articles in the popular press, including in The Washington Post and Scientific American. Akhilesh received an MD at the Stanford School of Medicine and an MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds an AB magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard University. Akhilesh is a member of the board of AccuVein, Inc.
