Bertrand Lacroix has had an extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bertrand began their career as a Marketing Director at DTS in 1999. From there, they worked as a Strategy & Marketing Consultant at Sofrecom, where they carried out various projects for telecom companies in different countries. In 2006, they joined Orange Madagascar as the Chief Marketing Officer, leading marketing activities and overseeing the successful launch of a submarine cable and 3G services. Bertrand then moved to Orange Uganda in 2010, where they became the Chief Marketing Officer and played a key role in the development and implementation of new B2B activities and becoming the leading internet supplier in Uganda. Lacroix joined Cable & Wireless Seychelles Ltd in 2013 as the Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for marketing activities and successfully launching 4G services. In 2015, they became the Chief Commercial Officer at Zanzibar Telecom Public Limited Company (Zantel PLC), leading all commercial activities and restructuring the company's operations. Bertrand then joined Orange in 2018 as the Head of E-Commerce Middle East & Africa, where they led the development and implementation of e-commerce activities across the region. Currently, Lacroix is working at Telma Madagascar as the Chief Commercial Officer.

Bertrand Lacroix started their education journey by attending Lycée Saint-Michel de Picpus from 1995 to 1996, where they pursued a Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles. Following this, they enrolled at EDHEC Business School from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, alongside a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
