David Swits

David Swits has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles, currently serving as Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer, and Chief Information Security Officer at MVP Health Care since January 2018. Prior to this, David held the position of Vice President of Information Services focused on IT Architecture at Albany Medical Center from October 2007 to January 2018, where responsibilities included guiding infrastructure and operations for a portfolio of applications and developing a comprehensive technology roadmap. David's career also includes significant roles such as Vice President of Public Sector and Infrastructure Management at SCS, Chief Operating Officer at the New York State Office for Technology, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Technology at the State University of New York, Vice President of Technology at The Research Foundation of SUNY, and Director of Applications at the Workers' Compensation Board, among others. David began his career as a Project Manager at Shearson Lehman Hutton. David holds a degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where studies were completed from 1977 to 1981.
