Thomas J. Pettit

Thomas Pettit is a Shareholder in the St. Louis office of McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips. Mr. Pettit began his legal career in 2005 at another firm defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation cases and has been with MVP since 2008.

Mr. Pettit successfully defends employers and insurance carriers at all levels of trial and appellate courts in both Missouri and Illinois. He collaborates with clients to determine the most effective litigation plan for each case and works to bring each case to a successful resolution through a negotiated settlement or trial.

Mr. Pettit regularly meets with clients to conduct training sessions and case law updates involving Missouri and Illinois workers’ compensation claims.

In his free time, Mr. Pettit enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
