Stephen Chege

Stephen Chege serves as the Finance & Operations Director at New Day Ventures Ltd since July 2019, where a transportation enterprise has been established alongside diversification into timber importation and wood-based goods production. Previously, as Head of Finance at Copia Kenya from December 2016 to June 2019, Stephen enhanced departmental professionalism, implemented a robust reporting framework, and achieved a significant reduction in revenue spillage. Prior to this role, Stephen was the Finance and Administration Manager at East African Packaging Industries Limited from October 2005 to November 2016, where successful negotiations led to substantial tax savings and monthly cost reductions. Stephen's early career includes serving as Management Accountant at the same company, managing comprehensive financial operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University of Sunderland, alongside management studies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Strathmore University.
