Nick has worked directly in the engineering and construction sector for over 25 years has detailed knowledge and understanding of financial performance and control from projects and programmes through to business level.
Nick has direct responsibility for financial control and accounting in all areas of the business. He sits as an active joint venture board member for our Advance Plus (United Utilities) and SMB (Thames Water) joint ventures. Nick also sits on MWH Treatment’s Governance and Risk Commitee.
Nick joined MWH Treatment through MWH Constructors 2006 acquisition of Biwater. He was a critical member of that acquisition team. In recent years, following the company’s acquisition by Oaktree, Nick has had Ex-Comm responsibility for successfully leading our transition strategy, including the creation of the MWH Treatment dedicated corporate IT platforms and systems.
Nick has overseen the repositioning of finance within MWH Treatment. Nick believes that finance has much more potential to create value with its focus and oversight on project and programme performance including ensuring accounting consistency across our joint ventures.
