Gijs Van Der Velden

Gijs Van Der Velden has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gijs began their career in 2004 as the CEO of Smoking Gun, Art Production, where they worked until 2009. Gijs then joined Joris Laarman Studio Bv as the Co-owner and COO in March 2009, and held this position until March 2018. In 2014, they became the Co-Chief Executive Officer at MX3D, a role they held until May 2018. Gijs then transitioned to become the sole CEO at MX3D, a position they still hold.

Gijs Van Der Velden completed their Bachelor of Laws degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a master's degree in Dutch and International Humanitarian Law at the same university, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.
