Y. Paudel is an experienced Engineering Economist and Data Scientist at MxV Rail since June 2012, specializing in data mining, quantitative analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and providing recommendations to support initiatives related to safety, reliability, and financial impacts in the North American Railroad Industry. Y. Paudel has also conducted materials and parts price surveys to identify industry-wide price trends. Prior experience includes multiple engineering roles at MxV Rail and academic positions at Colorado State University-Pueblo and Winona State University, where Y. Paudel served as a graduate assistant, peer tutor, and laboratory teaching assistant. Y. Paudel holds a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Colorado State University-Pueblo and a Bachelor of Science from Winona State University.
