Ajay Mitter has extensive experience in the medical field, specializing in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. Currently serving as an Attending Physician at Memorial Hermann Health System since February 2002, Ajay also holds the position of Director of Oncology at GCOA and has been an Attending Physician Oncologist at College Station Medical Center since November 2000. Additionally, Ajay has practiced at Park Plaza Hospital and St. Luke's in Houston, Texas, while previously working at Memorial Southwest and Avera Queen of Peace Health Services. Ajay completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center from 1989 to 1995, where responsibilities included chief fellow duties. Educational qualifications include an M.B.B.S. from Maulana Azad Medical College (1980-1984) and premedical studies at Montfort School (1974-1980).
