Xander Akiko Snelder

Xander Snelder is currently a Data Trainee at ANWB, the largest non-profit organization in the Netherlands, since September 2024. Previously, Xander served as a Junior Data Scientist at SALTO Systems, a global leader in cloud-based access control, where responsibilities included developing machine learning models for predictive maintenance, applying time series analysis for business metric forecasting, and improving model accuracy through feature selection and engineering. Xander also completed a Data Science internship at SALTO Systems, focusing on advanced analytical initiatives. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Amsterdam, ongoing since 2022, a Minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the same institution in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2022.
