Head Of OTT Content Strategy at My Code Media

Jason Rubin began their work experience in 1994 as an Advertising Sales Senior Sales Executive at International Channel Network. Jason then held various roles including Director of Advertising Sales at TOKYOPOP and Marketing Manager at Korea National Tourism Org. In 2003, they became the Director of Marketing at Spark Networks, where they oversaw the development and implementation of social networking sites. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as the Director of Marketing & Sales, Western Region at Imaginasian Entertainment Inc. In 2010, they joined Indomina Media as the Director of Marketing. In 2014, they joined Cinedigm as the Head of Programming and later took on additional roles such as Brand Manager, OTT Networks and Marketing Strategy Consultant. Jason then worked at ODK Media, Inc as the Director of Content Strategy & Acquisition from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Head of OTT Content Strategy at My Code.

Jason Rubin attended UCLA and graduated with a BA in East Asian Language & Culture. Jason then pursued a Masters program in Chinese Media Studies at Beijing Language and Culture University. Jason also completed post-graduate studies towards an MA at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on Intermediate Mandarin & Cantonese Studies, as well as media and marketing. Prior to their higher education, they studied Japanese language, history, and economics at Sophia University. Jason Rubin completed their general studies at Santa Monica High School.
