Janett Villegas

Janett Villegas has extensive experience in early childhood intervention and community health. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Early Intervention Specialist at MHMR of Tarrant County since November 2018, Janett provides specialized services and coordination for developmentally delayed infants and toddlers within the statewide Early Childhood Intervention program. From January 2021 to January 2023, Janett contributed as a Board Member for the Superkids Foundation, which focuses on empowering children through leadership and life skills programs. Previously, from February 2016 to May 2018, Janett worked as a Community Health Specialist for the Peace Corps in rural Paraguay, promoting public health initiatives related to non-communicable diseases and maternal and infant health. Janett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus on Early Childhood from The University of Texas at Austin.
