Katarina Venturelli

Katarina Venturelli has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Katarina is currently working at My Italian Family as a Legal Counsel and Associate Director. Before that, they held the position of Legal Counsel and Senior Project Manager at the same company. Prior to joining My Italian Family, Katarina worked at HewardMills as a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, where they conducted research, prepared training materials, and advised clients on data protection compliance. Katarina also gained experience as a Contract Analyst at SpeedLegal, where they reviewed contracts and contributed to the development of a SaaS platform. Katarina has also worked as a Senior Legal Consultant at LEGATE and KPMG in Slovakia and as a Lawyer at G. Lehnert, k.s., law firm. Additionally, they have interned at the Refugee Law Clinic and Strategic Litigation Clinic in Italy and VIVID LEGAL. Katarina's journey in the legal profession started as a Student Associate and Trainee Lawyer at Advokatska kancelaria Jurika & Keltos, s.r.o., law firm.

Katarina Venturelli has a diverse education history. Katarina obtained a Master's degree in Law from the Law Faculty of Comenius University, Slovakia, in the years 2002-2007. Katarina further expanded their legal knowledge by pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) with a specialization in Comparative Law, Economics, and Finance at The International University College of Turin, Italy, in 2015. In the same year, they participated in an exchange program at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). Katarina later pursued an LL.M. degree in US Legal Studies at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco from 2019 to 2020. Katarina also holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the Law Faculty of Matej Bel University, Slovakia. In addition to their educational qualifications, Katarina has obtained various certifications, including a California Bar License from the State Bar of California in 2021, a Certificate in Legal Research from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2020, and an Attorney License from the Slovenská advokátska komora/Slovak Bar Association in 2012.
