Kane O'Flaherty

Kane O'Flaherty has a wealth of experience in the design industry, having worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2008, Kane began their career as a Junior Graphic Designer at EC. Kane then completed two internships as a Junior Designer at Holmes & Marchant and Utd Studios in 2010. Following this, Kane worked as a Product & Graphic Designer at Le Toy Van from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Kane took on the role of Senior Graphic Designer at Metcalfe's Food Company Ltd, where they were responsible for artwork management, project planning, budget tracking, brand development, packaging design, digital design, POS design, trade and consumer show stand design, PR campaign concept generation, and marketing promotional material. In 2015, Kane began working as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Head of Design at itsu grocery. From 2014 to 2019, Kane was Co-Founder and Creative Director at Piccolo (Organic Baby Food), where they were responsible for launching the company and drawing from the founding team's Mediterranean roots to make organic baby food, snacks, and cooking ingredients. Finally, in 2019, Kane began working as Creative Director at Otherly Design, a full service boutique creative agency specializing in FMCG.

Kane O'Flaherty's education history includes a 6th Form from De La Salle College (Malta) from 2004 to 2006, a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design from MCAST College of Art & Design (Malta) from 2006 to 2009, a BA (Hons) Graphic Communication in Consumer & Culture from University for the Creative Arts from 2009 to 2011, and attendance at St.Edward's College (Malta) from 1993 to 2004.
