Johnny McDonald

Johnny McDonald has extensive experience in hotel management, currently serving as General Manager for My Place Hotels of America, LLC since September 2016. Prior to this role, Johnny held the position of Assistant General Manager at Astoria Hotel & Event Center, where responsibilities included overseeing hotel operations, managing customer relations, and significantly improving guest satisfaction scores. Johnny's career also includes roles as a Sales Manager, Sales Consultant, and an Assistant Basketball Coach at Dickinson State University, complemented by early experience as a server and bartender at Applebee's. Johnny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Dickinson State University and an Associate's Degree in Sports and Exercise from Jones College.
