Sandy Bruinsma-Maharaj

Sandy Bruinsma-Maharaj has a diverse work experience in human resources and administrative operations. Sandy is currently the VP Administrative Operations at My Psychiatrist, where they previously held the roles of Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources (Consultant) at a confidential organization, where they managed all aspects of HR and payroll. Sandy also has experience as the Director of Human Resources at ATC Aerospace, a company specializing in supply chain management and consulting services for aerospace, utility, and industrial sectors. Sandy has also worked at AAR, a provider of products and support services to the aviation and aerospace industry, where they held positions such as Human Resources Manager and Payroll Administrator/HR Assistant/HR Administrator. Sandy's earlier career includes roles in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, Sandy also attended Florida International University - College of Business and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management.

- In the years 2013 to 2015, Sandy attended Broward College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration.

Sandy has also obtained several additional certifications, including a certification as a Human Resources Generalist from SHRM, a certification in Human Resources Legal Seminar from the HR Association of Broward County (HRABC), a certification in Interviewing Skills from the American Management Association, and a Team Building Specialty Certification from the Bell Leadership Institute.
