About My Steady Voice

My Steady Voice empowers young people with the communication skills and confidence they need to navigate life's challenges—from classroom presentations to difficult conversations with friends, family, and authority figures.

My Steady Voice was founded after seven years in corporate revenue enablement, over two decades as a parent, and experience as a former middle school speech teacher. This unique combination provides deep insight into how authentic communication skills transform young people's ability to advocate for themselves, set boundaries, and build meaningful relationships.

What We Offer
Our curriculum goes beyond traditional public speaking. We teach tweens, teens, and young adults how to:
-Advocate for themselves in conversations with teachers, coaches, and other adults
-Navigate conflict with peers and authority figures respectfully and effectively
-Communicate their needs, boundaries, and ideas with clarity and confidence
-Develop authentic self-expression (not performance-based speaking)

Who We Serve
My Steady Voice partners with middle schools, high schools, community organizations, and families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our programs are designed for group settings where young people can practice real-world communication skills in supportive environments.

Our Approach
We believe every young person deserves to feel heard and equipped to speak up for themselves. Our curriculum emphasizes practical skills over performance, helping students build genuine confidence through:
-Interactive workshops and ongoing programs
-Small group practice with peer feedback
-Real-world scenarios and conflict resolution strategies
-Tools for self-advocacy in academic, social, and family settings

Let's Connect
For educators, administrators, or organization leaders interested in bringing communication and confidence-building programs to students, My Steady Voice would welcome the opportunity to explore partnership possibilities.
