Alex Rolfe has a diverse work experience in software development and research. Starting in 2014, Alex worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University, where they taught undergraduate courses and edited grant applications. In 2017, Alex joined National Decision Support Company as a Software Engineer in Test, focusing on test coverage and automation. In 2018, they transitioned to Change Healthcare, where they served as a Full Stack Engineer and continued their work on the CareSelect team, specializing in FHIR interoperability and expanding decision support capabilities. Most recently, in 2022, Alex became a Senior Software Developer at Alloy Women's Health.
Alex Rolfe earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance from Lawrence University, attending from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Alex pursued a Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance at Northern Illinois University. Alex switched fields and attended Bloc in 2015 and 2016 to study Software Engineering, earning a degree in the same field.
