MyBond
MyBond is reimagining the way Australians pay a rental bond on property. Typically, when moving house a renter is required to pay 4 weeks rent as security against damage caused to the property, this is the rental bond. Rental Bond is the biggest expense for a prospective tenant when they are looking to move. MyBond helps them manage this; for a fixed fee we will pay your bond for you. Instead of a tenant having to pay out 4 weeks rent as their deposit, they pay MyBond a flat fee of 1 week's rent, and then we pay the 4 weeks rental bond directly to the Rental Bond Board. This frees up extra cash for the renter to spend on moving costs, rent in advance payments, purchasing furniture or appliances and even paying off other debt. The best part is that at no point does the tenant need to pay back the rental bond to MyBond. We simply receive the refund direct from the Rental Bond Board when the tenant moves out. This service significantly improves accessibility to the rental market.
