James Moon is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Mycardium AI since April 2022. James also holds the position of Medical Director at Chenies Mews Imaging Centre since August 2017. With a background in cardiology, James has been working as a Cardiologist at UCLH since October 2007 and as the CMR lead at Barts Heart Centre since May 2015. James obtained their Master of Arts degree in Medicine from the University of Cambridge in July 1992, and has furthered their education at Imperial College London and University of Oxford.

Focusing on cardiac MRI initially, our ambition is to deliver this AI to point-of-care in over 2,000 global centres. Our mission is to improve healthcare system performance, patient outcomes by delivering better diagnoses, and help create next generation treatments by analysing Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Images, using Artificial Intelligence Algorithms capable of performing the automation of heart measurement to a super-human standard.
