Julien Gueritee has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and development, specializing in human physiology and innovative clothing design. Julien co-founded Clim8 in 2016 and served as the R&D Director, working on B2B heating technologies for clothing and accessories. Prior to that, they worked as a researcher for the French Ministry of Defence, focusing on human physiology in extreme environments. Julien also founded and served as a consultant for Smart Celsius from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they worked as an R&D engineer for Decathlon, where they focused on the impact of fabric, fit, and design on users' temperature sensations. Julien Gueritee completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Thermophysiology: Human temperature regulation, perception, and comfort from the University of Portsmouth.
