Mathias Verdon

Mathias Verdon has a diverse work experience in software and hardware engineering. Mathias is currently the Head of Software Engineering at clim8 since September 2018. Prior to that, Mathias was the Director and Owner of WazoTek Limited, where they provided R&D consulting services for businesses specializing in embedded software programming, FPGA, and electronics design. Mathias also worked as the CTO at Adventvr and as the Chief Engineer at Fresh Up Group Limited.

In their earlier career, Mathias worked as an Embedded Systems Specialist while being self-employed, and they also held the positions of Design Engineer at DA-Design Oy and FPGA Engineer at Finnelpro Oy. Additionally, they were an Engineering Trainee at ACTIA and completed an internship at the RINCE institute in the Speech Processing Group at Dublin City University. Mathias has expertise in various domains, including IoT, wearables, AI, and industrial automation systems.

Mathias Verdon completed their education at two institutions. From 2003 to 2005, they attended Lycée René Cassin, where they pursued a CPGE degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, and Mathematics. Following that, Mathias attended ENSEEIHT from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur (Master's degree) in Electronics, Signal Processing, and Microelectronics. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI, which they obtained in June 2015.
