Huiqian Chen

Architectural Designer at Mycotoo

Huiqian Chen has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Huiqian worked as an Architectural Designer at MYCOTOO, Inc. from October 2018. Prior to this, they were an Experience Designer at Themespace from June 2018 to October 2018. From August 2016 to October 2017, they worked as a Senior Designer at Opak Creative Inc.

Huiqian had a significant role at Thinkwell Group where they worked from July 2013 to August 2016. Initially, they served as an Associate Master Planner, managing theme park design and area development projects. Later, they worked as a Show Set Designer/Client Relations, where they were responsible for creating planning diagrams, master plan renderings, and architectural drawings for various projects, including Monkey Kingdom Theme Park in China and Warner Brothers Theme Park in Abu Dhabi.

Furthermore, Huiqian gained experience as an Intern Architect at Page & Turnbull from June 2010 to September 2010. Huiqian also worked as an Architectural Coordinator at BRC Imagination Arts from September 2009 to July 2010. In addition, they had internships at UNESCO and Richard and Dion Neutra Architecture in 2009.

Huiqian began their career as a Graphic Designer at Hero Award Inc. in March 2009. Prior to that, they worked as an Intern Architect at Richard and Dion Neutra Architecture from February 2009 to May 2009. Finally, they started their professional journey as an Architectural Designer (PT) at CQ Studio from July 2007 to June 2008.

Huiqian Chen started their education in 2003 at Tongji University, where they pursued a B.E. in Architecture Conservation. They completed this degree in 2007. Afterwards, in 2007, they continued their studies at Tongji University to obtain an M.Arch(pending) in Architecture. This program lasted until 2008. Following this, Huiqian Chen attended the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2010, where they acquired a Master's degree in Historic Preservation of Architecture.
