Alaina Melchior

Alaina Melchior is a skilled Process Engineer at MycoWorks since November 2023, previously serving as a Process Development Engineer at Toyoda Gosei Americas from July 2021 to December 2023, where multiple processes were developed from pre-production to mass manufacturing. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at Missouri University of Science and Technology, focusing on the effects of fillers on cement systems, and an internship in research and development at Carboline Company, where alternative materials for fireproofing products were evaluated. Alaina also held the position of Secretary at the American Nuclear Society and completed a Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2021. Additionally, a fellowship was attained from Terra.do in early 2023.
