Jose A. Torres

Jose A. Torres has over a decade of professional experience. In 2011, they began their career as an Application Developer/Business Analyst at Corning Incorporated. Jose A. then moved to Emtec Incorporated in 2012 as a Microsoft Business Intelligence Analyst. In 2013, they were a Staff Information Systems Analyst at the Department of State Hospital and a Director of Information Technology and Operations at Atalanta Capital. In 2014, they became a Business Intelligence Architect / Developer at the California Earthquake Authority. The following year, they were a Business Intelligence Architect and Business Intelligence and Data Governance Manager at Barton Memorial Hospital. In 2016, they were an Enterprise Data Architect at the California High-Speed Rail Authority. In 2017, they were the Chief Data Officer at Presidio Data Solutions. In 2019, they joined the American Breast Cancer Foundation as a Board Member. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Mydayda.

Jose A. Torres obtained their Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Radford University in 2010, an Associate of Arts and Science Degree in Engineering from New River Community College in 2008, and has obtained three additional certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in June 2015, Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in January 2015, and System Development Life Cycle Certificate Program from the California Department of Technology in August 2013. Jose A. has also attended University of California, Davis, Virginia Tech, and Wheeling.
