Alexandru Eugen Irimiea has had a diverse work experience. In 2012, they joined Continental Automotive as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2014. Alexandru Eugen then moved on to the National University of Singapore, where they worked as a Research Assistant in Computer Science, focusing on power management and optimal distribution of tasks between CPU and GPU.

In 2015, Irimiea joined MiOS as a Software Engineer before transitioning to ESET in 2017. At ESET, they took on various roles, including Software Engineer II and Software Engineer III & Team Lead. During their time at ESET, they worked on developing ESET Bridge, a custom C++ and Nginx proxy used in enterprise networks, as well as on performance matters of ESET Internet Security.

Currently, Irimiea is working as a Senior Software Engineer at myDevices, starting in 2021. Overall, they have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in C++, performance optimization, and system development.

Alexandru Eugen Irimiea completed their Master's Degree in Software Engineering at the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Alexandru Eugen completed their high school education in Mathematics and Computer Science at National College, Iași, from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandru has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In April 2021, they became an Accredited Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Information Security. Alexandru Eugen also earned the Agile Project Management Practitioner certification from APMG International in December 2020.
