Ruby Weir-Alarcon

Ruby Weir-Alarcon is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in retail and various supportive roles within academic and corporate settings. Currently serving as a Retail Assistant at MYER since October 2019, Ruby has demonstrated adaptability across departments and gained logistics experience. Previously, Ruby held the position of Team Leader at a flagship Myer store, managing a team of over 60 individuals and ensuring operational standards. In the academic realm, Ruby contributes as the Reviews Manager for Farrago Magazine and acts as a mentor for the Girl Power in Engineering & IT program at the University of Melbourne while pursuing a Bachelor of Biomedicine with a focus on Bioengineering Systems. Other experiences include serving as a Front of House Coordinator at Egon Zehnder and participating in various internships, enhancing knowledge of the medical field through work at the Bionics Institute. Ruby's education includes a Victorian Certificate of Education from Virtual School Victoria and a foundational study at Mount Erin College.
