Alison Robinson

Alison became Principal and Chief Executive of Myerscough College in April 2018, having previously held the position of Vice Principal and Deputy Chief Executive since 2014. Her early teaching career goes back to 1991 where she taught a variety of humanities, social science and management subjects across Lancashire from Further Education to Postgraduate level. She has additionally worked has an Ofsted inspector and also worked in a variety of student support, counselling and quality roles.

Having grown up on a farm with a horse racing business close to the College’s Bilsborrow Campus, Alison is hugely passionate about the College’s specialist curricular areas; she is equally passionate about making education fully inclusive to all no matter a student’s background or ability – embodying the College motto – ‘Providing Opportunities For All To Succeed’
