Michael Akel

Michael Akel has extensive experience in the optical industry, beginning at the age of 15. Currently serving as the Internal Operations Manager - Integrations at MyEyeDr. since April 2021, Michael previously held positions such as Professional Services Integration Manager and Senior Integration Manager at the same company from October 2015 to January 2024. Prior to this, Michael was the General Manager at Designer Eyewear for 14 years. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of North Florida and an Associate of Science in Biology from St. Johns River State College.
