Raymond Farmer

Raymond Farmer is an experienced optometrist currently practicing at MyEyeDr. since July 2022, specializing in primary care and ocular disease. Prior experience includes a research technician role at The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where Raymond studied NMNAT1-associated Leber Congenital Amaurosis utilizing gene therapy techniques. Earlier roles include a summer research intern position at Livingstone Laboratory, training rhesus macaques for neurological research, and another summer intern role at Brigham and Women's Hospital Visual Attention Laboratory, where experiments were conducted and data analyzed. Education includes a Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College, and residency training in ocular disease and primary care optometry at the New England College of Optometry.
