Ahmed Bassiouny has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Ahmed started their career as a Software Engineer at Aiwa Gulf GT & C Co. in 2011, where they worked until 2012. Ahmed then joined Advanced Systems as a Software Engineer from 2013 to 2015, where they developed web and desktop applications for Saudi governmental agencies.

From 2015 to 2016, Ahmed worked at Victory Link as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Team Lead. In this role, they developed and maintained web applications and lead a team to ensure deadlines were met and performance expectations exceeded.

In 2017, Ahmed joined Infas ME as a Software Team Lead, where they managed a team of developers and oversaw the delivery of multiple system development projects.

Their next role was at MyFatoorah, where they worked as a Tech Lead Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Here, they developed the MyFatoorah product, worked closely with the Database Administrator to optimize database behavior, and designed and implemented infrastructure and network configurations on Azure and Oracle Cloud.

Currently, Ahmed is working at MyFatoorah as the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they drive technological innovation, leads product development projects, and fosters a working environment that promotes problem-solving and professional growth. Ahmed also facilitates brainstorming and question-thinking meetings to inspire creativity and promote ownership among team members.
