Nicole Rognes Olson

Nicole Rognes Olson is the current Chief Wealth Management Officer at First Citizens Bank. Nicole has always had a passion for helping people reach their financial goals. This led their to their previous positions at Thrivent and Heiny, McManigal, Duffy, Stambaugh & Anderson, PLC. At Thrivent, Nicole helped individuals and families develop a strategy to reach their financial goals and live generous lives. These financial goals included saving for retirement, saving for a child’s college education, and charitable giving to their favorite organizations or causes. Nicole attained their Series 7/66 and insurance license while at Thrivent. Before Thrivent, Nicole was a Partner at Heiny, McManigal, Duffy, Stambaugh & Anderson, PLC where they worked with an established law firm providing general practice legal services with a focus on probate, estate planning, nonprofit and business law. Nicole has always been driven to help others and looks forward to continuing their work in the financial industry.

Nicole Rognes Olson attended the University of Iowa for their undergraduate studies, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the Tippie College of Business. Nicole then went on to earn their Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. In addition to their degrees, Nicole Rognes Olson is a certified financial planner and has earned certifications from the Independent Community Bankers of America, Campbell University, and the CFP Board.
