Ian Cowley

Ian Cowley has a diverse work experience in the field of Android development. Ian started their career as an Android Developer Intern at Samsung Telecommunications America in 2013. Ian then worked as an Android Developer at Bottle Rocket from January 2014 to July 2015, and later at Chaotic Moon Studios from July 2015 to August 2016. Ian became a Senior Mobile Engineer (Android) at Planoly from August 2016 to May 2018. Ian then joined Tide University Laundry as a Senior Android Developer from May 2018 to December 2020. Ian's most recent role was at MyFitnessPal, where they worked as a Staff Software Engineer from December 2020 to May 2021 and now holds the position of Android Engineering Manager starting in May 2021.

Ian Cowley completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Ian obtained this degree between 2011 and 2015. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in November 2022.
