Maddy Woodrum

Maddy Woodrum is a skilled Backend Software Engineer II at MyFitnessPal, specializing in the maintenance and development of backend microservices that support millions of users. Maddy's role involves architecting and deploying APIs, integrating machine-learning models, and participating in incident management within the backend ecosystem. Previously, Maddy co-created Twine Real-Time, an open-source WebSocket infrastructure, and served as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, focusing on head and neck medicine and critical oncology care.
